Long Term Care in Livingston
This 70-bed unit offers individualized care and personal attention to our long-term care residents. Residents are provided with 24-hour assistance, as needed, to carry out activities of daily living. Assistance with meals, dressing, bathing, and medication management are among the many services we provide to our residents. Our scope of services varies based on a resident’s need and level of care, which can range from minimal supervision to total dependence. Our staff is also trained to provide specialized care to those with varying stages of Alzheimer’s and dementia.
To ease the transition into a new environment, Inglemoor, involves the family in the plan of care, to re-create a resident’s routine so it resembles, as closely as possible, their previous lifestyle. Inglemoor also eases the transition by maintaining consistent staff and daily routines for all long-term residents. In addition, our recreation staff provides socially engaging opportunities through various in-house groups, weekly entertainment and religious services. These activities help to engage our residents and encourage socialization and independence.
The residents also participate in a planning committee to recommend activities they truly enjoy. With the longevity of our staff and the care and attention they provide to our residents, Inglemoor strives to maintain a “home-like” environment to help in easing with the transition to long-term care. To further increase the comfort level of our residents and families, we encourage families to bring in memorabilia, pictures, and small items from home. Our staff will arrange these items in the room to help truly make the room the resident’s own.
