Full Service Respite Care in New Jersey

Inglemoor understands the difficulties in caring for an elderly loved one at home and the emergent situations that may occur. This is why Inglemoor provides a Respite Care Program which offers the same quality of care that is provided for all our residents. Along with 24-hour nursing care, medication management, and meals, our rehabilitation department can perform a therapy screen. Although post-acute rehabilitation is not included in respite services, if the need presents itself, therapists can perform the screening and determine if rehabilitation can be rendered under Medicare Part B.

In addition to the excellent care provided by the staff, physicians visit regularly to ensure the medical oversight of our respite residents. Please see a representative from the Admissions Department to learn more about this service.

Respite Care, NJ, Inglemoor

Respite Care for Stroke Patients

Stroke patients require substantial and comprehensive care. The constant routine of feeding, bathing, dressing, and cleaning is difficult for anyone, let alone a family member providing care at home. At Inglemoor, we are equipped to consistently provide the assistance and support that your loved one needs, letting you take a breather from the stress and duress of caregiving.

Rehabilitation and Sub-Acute Care

While our respite program does not include rehabilitative or sub-acute care, we are pleased to be able to offer these services in our long-term care facility. Upon arrival, every patient is thoroughly examined and evaluated to determine which level of care is required and whether a long- or short-term stay is recommended. Each treatment plan is tailored to your loved one’s needs, letting you rest easy and regather your strength in peace.

Put Your Loved One in Trusted Hands

Burnout and compassion fatigue are empirically linked to poor mental and physiological health, and can have devastating effects on both you and your loved ones. At Inglemoor, we believe that caring for yourself is just as critical as caring for others, and we are committed to making sure that your entire family is supported in the process of elderly care. With exceptional respite and hospice services designed to mitigate the impact of ageing, we are proud to offer our assistance to those who need it most. From Livingston and Roseland to South Amboy and Florham Park, we treat each of our patients with the care and respect that they deserve. Testimonials From Our Patients and Their Families

This is by far the best place for seniors that I have ever experience all the staff are wonderful and very professional…..Alicia is absolutely amazing she is extremely through and cares for her patients as if there are her family. I recommend this place for everyone who wants their family members and friends to get the best care possible.

We had the most positive experience. The property is immaculately maintained and the staff is caring and efficient. Kudos to Helyne who welcomed us to Amy as our social worker to Issy in rehab. They are all as good as it gets.

- Ellen L.

My mother was in Inglemoor for 5 weeks for physical and occupational therapy. I cannot say enough about the wonderful care she received from countless people. The patience it takes for all of them to do their jobs day in and out is admirable. The aides, nurses, physical and occupational therapists, social workers, cleaning and food staff and also the front desk help were all kind, warm and always helpful!! The facility is maintained daily and is very clean and nice! If you need to be here I promise you will have great care. Many employees said to me they do this because it is a labor of love…and it shows!

- Jill L.

The majority of the nurses and aides are very attentive and awesome! It’s normal to have a few that aren’t! We had a great experience while our mom was there for three weeks. Gwen at the front desk and the others (we didn’t get their names) were so sweet and welcoming. Latisha and Jo Jo (nurses) were absolutely awesome! Yvonne and Monique (aides) were the best. We appreciate each and every one of you! We recommend Inglemoor!

This place is amazing, the caring and people make the place. All the nurses and aides are considerate, helpful and happy making this a wonderful place for my mom. My mother is more comfortable and happy and I am thankful we were able to get her in.

- Mr. Emen

I will begin by saying that the staff at Inglemoor are exceptionally skilled and competent in addition to being friendly and kind. This is true of the medical/clinical staff, rehab department, physical/occupation therapy department, recreational staff, social workers, and others. The dietary department goes above and beyond in providing food that actually tastes good. And the housekeeping department is diligent in keeping things scrupulously clean.

- Linda P.

This is an amazing place. The halls are so full of caretakers, you have to dodge them. What a warm, loving place.
