Inglemoor understands the difficulties in caring for an elderly loved one at home and the emergent situations that may occur. This is why Inglemoor provides a Respite Care Program which offers the same quality of care that is provided for all our residents. Along with 24-hour nursing care, medication management, and meals, our rehabilitation department can perform a therapy screen. Although post-acute rehabilitation is not included in respite services, if the need presents itself, therapists can perform the screening and determine if rehabilitation can be rendered under Medicare Part B.
In addition to the excellent care provided by the staff, physicians visit regularly to ensure the medical oversight of our respite residents. Please see a representative from the Admissions Department to learn more about this service.
Respite Care for Stroke Patients
Stroke patients require substantial and comprehensive care. The constant routine of feeding, bathing, dressing, and cleaning is difficult for anyone, let alone a family member providing care at home. At Inglemoor, we are equipped to consistently provide the assistance and support that your loved one needs, letting you take a breather from the stress and duress of caregiving.
Rehabilitation and Sub-Acute Care
While our respite program does not include rehabilitative or sub-acute care, we are pleased to be able to offer these services in our long-term care facility. Upon arrival, every patient is thoroughly examined and evaluated to determine which level of care is required and whether a long- or short-term stay is recommended. Each treatment plan is tailored to your loved one’s needs, letting you rest easy and regather your strength in peace.
Put Your Loved One in Trusted Hands
Burnout and compassion fatigue are empirically linked to poor mental and physiological health, and can have devastating effects on both you and your loved ones. At Inglemoor, we believe that caring for yourself is just as critical as caring for others, and we are committed to making sure that your entire family is supported in the process of elderly care. With exceptional respite and hospice services designed to mitigate the impact of ageing, we are proud to offer our assistance to those who need it most. From Livingston and Roseland to South Amboy and Florham Park, we treat each of our patients with the care and respect that they deserve.
